Re: Wow! Almost 50,000 Ordered Way to Go Joy, lol

well, let me step in here and say i did not buy the TS. however, i am a big JOY fan......i have had great luck with many of her products......huggable hangers, some of her luggage, the beauty cases, the memory cloud pillows, the  my little steamers, the 2 tier jewelry boxes, various organizers, the readers, and probably more.

she must have a lot of good customers other than me because she is on hsn often, has been around for a long time, and many of her products have great reviews. i defnitely have no regrets on my JM purchases.

I ordered this thing because I need something light weight for cleaning my window treatments and for small jobs like getting rid of the cat litter and other light tasks.

I assume it's not going to last like a $400 vacuum cleaner, but for the price it should be good enough for my needs.

I received Joy's Super Chic 2-in-1 Vacuum today.  I put it together and only used it as an upright vac.   So far, so good! It worked just as demonstrated ... and it had a lot of power.  I need to try the other variation ... and time will tell if it holds up.

I can't wait to hear the other reviews. I may try to vacuum my car next. Funny how a new appliance, makes me want to clean ...lolWoman Wink

Oh heavens no.  I'm over Joy and this just didn't look like a quality item to me.  I fell for her air purifier in the spring with the scent disks and it was a genuine POS.  It's now on clearance for half off if anyone is interested.  It has almost 1300 reviews and an average 2 stars.

I saw one presentation and Joy was picking up dog hair.  She carried on about how powerful and wonderful it was.  Then she showed the vacuum and all the dog hair was stuck up inside the attachment.  None of it pulled into the vacuum.

I have the stick vac from QVC, Monster I think.  Joy's looks very similar.  Since I don't have carpet, this thing doesn't get used much.  I use two others with bags, mainly with the hose attachment.

She can sell on HSN, because thanks to her massive sales of huggable hangers, she owns half of the company (or more).  Her daughter also works for HSN.  You see her on the Fashion Report.   I have several of her items and they're fine, but a few of the huggable hangers I bought did break.  I bought one rolling duffel bag of Joy & Iman's on Ebay and it was brand new.  Saved over $100 from the HSN price, which shows you how much of a markup there is on her items.

Re: Wow! Almost 50,000 Ordered Way to Go Joy, lol

I just returned from my elderly neighbor's house and saw the HSN box with this vacuum in it. She told me she is going to return it because it does not do a good job on vacuuming her dogs hair from her couch. I had to see this thing for myself and although it is lightweight and has a super long cord, I didn't think it was too powerful. Nothing like my vacuum. I helped her box it up to return it.

Well, I just unpacked mine a little while ago and tried it out.  The handle on the little hand held one  heated up pretty fast, but it did a great job with the cat hair on my sofa.  Will return it.

Tried to write a review, but the message I received was that the page was unavailable.  Wonder if everyone has returned the little thing.  That'l teach me not to buy anything cheap like this again.

Just as an fyi, HSN requires you to have the item for 5 days before you can post a review. They go by the date it was delivered to you.

But something is odd because that vacuum doesn't show up at all.

Re: Wow! Almost 50,000 Ordered Way to Go Joy, lol

I normally don't buy things from Joy but my stick vac broke so I thought I would try it. The first time I used it, it seemed very powerful but now not so much. Like one of the reviews stated the dog hair on my carpet just piled up and I have to pick it up by hand. I can't even smell the fragrance disc. I am going to try it a couple more times to see if I like it because I really hate returning things.

It is strange that the vacuum is no longer available. It was still on there yesterday  availabe in black and white when I went to read the reviews.
