I bought some sheets for Cal King on clearance from the Q not long ago for about $25. They are very nice and if I needed more sheets I would order them again..

I have my most favorite sheets sitting in my shopping cart at Macy's dot com......They are normally 167.00, but are on sale for 67.00, so quite the bargain! I have one set, and am getting another-they are Soft Viscose Cotton from Bamboo Blend, and they are so nice and soft and wash up very well.......

Would I spend the 167.00? Probably not!

Sheets, towels, and kitchen sinks! Those are things I splurge on! To me, the things that you use most often are the things to spend money on.

Especially sheets because nice ones really do make me sleep better, wear better, and last longer. I hate a stiff or scratchy sheet, but a nice soft one that just floats over you and is smooth and silky! That's what I want to sleep under!

I wouldn't even pay $5 for polyester, microfiber or a blend of those. It's like sleeping in a plastic bag!

I do look for great sales when I buy sheets. I always buy 100% cotton and there are different grades of cotton too.

Would I pay $150 or more for good Quality cotton sheets, yes. Do I? I haven't yet.

@Katcat1 Yep, we did and love them and don't have a single regret. Think how much you use them, on a good night, 8 hours per day, EVERY day. Most used item in our home. We actually first slept on them at my daughters home. I told her how much I loved them, I run very warm at night and they kept me cool. My husband bought them as a gift to me. We now have 2 sets and I would not use anything else. We've had them for about 5 years I believe, wash once a week, and they are still like new, and most importantly, keep me cool throughout the night. LOVE them.

I think SHEEX is what I saw a sample of at either Bed Bath & Beyond or Costco, not sure which. I remember the fabric reminding me of expensive support undergarments. Don't care, wouldn't pay that much for sheets. I have a set of bamboo sheets I bought for a really good price on HSN and can't imagine that I would love anything more than these.
