In my opinion the room leans toward Colonial.  While I like the room I feel it needs to be perked up.  It is too plain and needs some change. I do like the painting over the mantle, the size is perfect.  I would change the furniture and put a  rug on the floor  that is larger and stands out.  I do not dislike the chairs but would place them elsewhere, perhaps in a bedroom.

@jubilant  I really like it, especially the windows and the paint color. I might go with a different upholstery on the wing chairs. Not a fan of the honeycomb pattern.

Definately colonial. The drapes are well done for those pretty windows.

The problem I have with it, and really the only issue, is that they need a FAR bigger rug to pull the furniture together.  It looks too busy and cluttered without that.
