You betcha because that thing is over 'my side' of the bed.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

Yes....my OCD would kick in!

I love chandeliers and have one over my dining room table.  As far as having one over the bed, I would find a chandelier which isn't so heavy looking with so much on it.

Re: Would This Bother You?

Typo edited......Yep, the light fixture bothers me.  First, it's not centered over the bed.  Second, I wouldn't want that thing over me.  Third, it would be a pain to clean!

I never hang anything directly over my bed, and only a very lightweight canvas print over the headboard.  Years ago I had a shelf with some little knickknacks over the headboard...in the the night lightning struck a nearby tree, and shaking from the crash and thunder knocked them down on me.  Fortunately I didn't get hurt...but learned my lesson!

The light fixture wouldn't bother me but the colorless austerity of the room certainly would.
