For those who use them, how long do they last?

I have also had mine for a few years and they are still going strong.  I like to put a few drops of essential oil on them (it soaks right in), and my laundry smells great when it is dry,

I bought a set of 3 dryer balls from Aldi's a few weeks ago.  The package says they're good for over 1,000 dryer loads of laundry, so I expect them to last for quite a while.  Like I said, I've only had them a few weeks and I do like them.  Clothes dry faster and there's no static cling.

Gosh, I got a set of dryer balls and they did nothing!

The static was SOOOOO bad !  Maybe our water is too hard?

We got our several months ago...they work great.  One thing..our maltipoo is fascinated with them.  We are guessing the smell.  but maybe also that they are balls.  His favorite toy is a ball.  but he doesn't try to play with it.  one time we dropped one and he just stared at it.  didn't try to grab it and run.  but he is a little strange.  lol

I've used wool dryer balls for quite a while now. I have also used the rubber/plastic ones with little nibs and regular tennis balls. I love how fabric softener sheets make my clothes smell but noticed they were gumming up my dryer filter, also couldn't use them for my blankets and towels, so opted just to stop. I've not put essential oils on them but may try that!

I use them exclusively and ditched fabric softener as I felt it coated my clothes. My dryer balls are perfectly brand new and they're over 6 months old. I love them.
