it's nice to look at ... but for my taste, there are way too many textures going on and it just feels too busy.

What throws it off for me is the subway tile. There are so many beautiful, rustic patterns to choose from.

I think I like this but I would want to see what's behind the wall with the stovetop, what's behind door #1 on the left. Looks like there's another room but what is it? Surely this sitting isn't considered the dining area.

 

I do like the rustic look though.

I like it and I don't like it.  Something seems off.  Maybe it's the blue paint on the cupboards and island.  Maybe some rugs to warm it up.

This is a cool space, but I think there's too much wood.  The thing that jumps out the most is the fake stone treatment around the range.  I don't care for fake finishes,  particularly stone.
