Re: Will Your Guests be Impressed

It does look like a Murphy bed which is a great idea if there is limited space. Headboard is pretty and coordinates nicely with the stripe on the wall. My only thought is - how hard would it be getting in/out of bed - space on the side by the door looks small.

It looks like a Murphy bed.  It's very clever, I think guests would be impressed.  At the very least, they'd be grateful they didn't have to stay in a hotel.

my guests would probably be saying:

"nice bed, but where do I put my clothes"

Re: Will Your Guests be Impressed

This is very similar to how beds are in campers. The beds are usually contained in a pull out so the head of the bed is enclosed just like this and it is  difficult to make the bed, and extremely difficult to change the sheets.

I've never seen anything like that.

I wouldn't want to sleep in a closet.  I would feel trapped.  If you put the bed in the closet, you're short a closet in a room.

I don't like staying with people.  I would think it was cute but I'd be on the way to my hotel.
