When I was growing up my Mom was a super clean freak.our home was spotless at ALL times it seemed, she had her "chore list", as she called it. And, she stuck to it without fail, now - for when I moved out, I was a clean freak, not a super clean freak, everything was still always clean - maybe just not as much. After my kids however, with each one I seemed to get less and less interested or motivated to get in there and clean the bathroom say. ( Still clean, mind you!). And, the laundry seemed to pile up a little more between washing too. Now - my husband and I clean the house. Not so picky it seems these days... Still clean though... Just not going to freak about someone coming over though - I just come back to my saying "People live here, you know..".

 

And, as far as decorating my house. I decorate it for myself - what I like. No one has any influence on the way I choose my decor. I absolutely hate clutter. Everything has its place or I just do not need it.
