We had a nor'easter overnight.  Here are few shots of the backyard.

For those that remember my property, this is the road to the lake.  The big oaks were swaying under a canopy of snow.  A beautiful morning.

For comparison, this is the summer view of the road to the lake!

The statuary is looking chilly!

@Lilysmom1   Very pretty!  We've been told no white Christmas in SW PA, and today only cold temps were forecasted.  But.....mid morning we got 2-3 inches, so who knows.

Merry Christmas!

Beautiful pictures @Lilysmom1

Your lake road looks equally lovely in the winter and summer. Very idyllic.

Enjoy your winter wonderland; Merry Christmas...

@lynnie61 We are coastal here in Nova Scotia and are definitely feeling the effects of climate change.  We have 8 fewer winter days than ten years ago according to our weather gurus and it has been ten years since we have had a white Christmas.

@DSD2, I shovelled for 2 1/2 hours today, clearing all house exits, making a path for oil delivery, clearing to make access to the whole home generator.  I don't mind doing this once in a while but it gets old in a bad winter.  It was lovely to be outside enjoying the fresh air.  DH was busy with the snowblower...we have a circular drive so it's a big job.

I'll sleep good tonight!

@Lilysmom1   BRRRRR. Beautiful snow but I'm a summer chick.  Lucky you to be living in coastal Nova Scotia - we want to relocate so badly to Canada but the paperwork and requirements are daunting...

@Lilysmom1.  No wonder you're inside quilting.  We had clear, blue sunny skies and 56°.

Beautiful winter wonderland! I live in the low desert and yesterday we set a record 80° for the day.
