We bought a whirlpool refrigerator this year and last Friday we already had to have it fixed twice already. Similar but different reasons to do with frezzer not defrosting right.

We bought a Whirlpool washing machine and had it repaired 3 times in first 6 months. It has a computer panel board and that's what burned out 3 times.
Repairman said it would have been expensive if not under warranty.

@Pooky1 @Sunshine Kate Whirlpool does not have a replacement policy under their warranty for multiple repairs?

The repairman told me if it fails one more time, I would get a new Whirlpool replacement washer.
Before this Whirlpool, I had an LG front load washer. The motor went out within 3 years. A new motor was under warranty so no cost to me.
Looks like I don't have real good luck with washing machines.
Only two in the family also, so not heavily used as if there was a housefull of people.

I won't buy Whirlpool anymore. I bought all new Whirlpool appliances at the same time 6 years ago. Microwave died after 2 years and the stove control panel and heating element failed after 3 years. Dishwasher barely made it 4 years. Only thing left is the fridge and it starting to rattle.
Won't every buy that brand again.

We just bpught a GE Frenchdoor WITHOUT thru the door ice/water. The interior ice is fine but the water dispenser is awful! If you see this as the water dispenser:
It is a royal pain, I just bought a PUR pitcher because the water flow from the fridge is so slow and you must use two hands to fill a glass. If I could return it I think I would but it would be a major Pain to do so.

@Pooky1 you may want to consider purchasing the extended warranty after the initial warranty period ends. Had a condenser go out on a seven month old GE refrigerator.

I have a Samsung refrigerator. It has been repaired many times for the same issue. The coils freeze. They collect about two inches of ice on them. Then the condensation runs down the back and under the deli drawer and it too, freezes.
Then the condensation runs over the ice and out all over my floors. I have hardwoods in my kitchen. My husband has fixed this too many times, temporary.
You have to empty the fridge and remove the back panel and shelves. Use a hairdryer to defrost.
Well, the fridge leaked twice last week and I ordered a new one. It's supposed to be delivered tomorrow. It's an LG. I hope this one is better.
Fridges are all expensive pieces of junk.
I bought an extra five year warranty. I hope I don't have to use it.

Was it a new refridgertor? If yes, it has a warranty. Call the number you got with the warranty info.
IMO, you got a lemon. Ask for more help or a new replacement from the warranty.
