This winter I have been enjoying fleece sheets! Soon, it will be too warm for them. Which flannel sheets are the very very best? I usually have trouble with pilling. I need flannel sheets that will stay soft after washing and drying. I'm willing to pay for quality!

I know these are not flannel but I absolutely love the Malden mills polar fleece sheets on QVC. Living in FL we use them year round! Never makes me hot and uncomfortable when sleeping & hubby wont sleep with cotton anymore. I change and wash them 1x/week and my set is almost 1 yr old and still soft and cuddly. Just no fabric softener in drying them. Item #: h202938 is what I have cal king size

The Vermont Country Store sells flannel sheets with flannel made in Portugal. That's where I would buy them.

Fleece sheets, for most people, are a replacement for flannel. It's even hard to find flannel. Why do you go from micro fleece to flannel? I go from fleece to my percale cotton sheets.

LLBean flannel is the only kind I buy. They are top quality and get softer each wash.

I can't help you because once I slept in MM fleece sheets, all the flannel went out the door, never to return. Since I live in a very warm climate, I've already switched the fleece for cotton percale. I LIKE IT when my feet hit cold spots once it gets warm outside!

I only have one set that I bought a long time ago at Bed Bath & Beyond. They were NOT inexpensive, and I don't use them very often. But, I have had them for about 15 years and no pills.

I own these cat sheets, from Plow & Hearth, but there are other patterns as well. The key is the Portuguese flannel.
