Right where I am now in the Northeast where there are 4 distinct seasons. 

I like lots of green and trees, and uneven terrain.  No flat land for me.  

I lived where others wish they could live, S. CA.  It's not for me.  Neither is Florida.  I knew during my first visit.  

I lived in 5 states, North, South, East, West, traveled all over the country.  I'm right where I'm supposed to be.

Bhvbum, I'm with you. I even picked out the perfect Paris apartment. It is a penthouse apartment right across the street from the Invalides in the 7th arrondissement. On one side it looks out directly upon the Dôme des Invalides and on the other side is a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. I've been to Paris many times and always check out that apartment, from afar of course.

We're about 45 mins away from Estes Park nestled up against the foothills of the Rockies across the street from a lake.  Couldn't ask for more and love Estes Park area so beautiful.

This is a dream house of mine.  I'd like it larger (my antiques don't fit in a "pup tent", lol.  I want big windows to bring the woods in and be able to get somewhere reasonable for shopping, doctor, and other services in half an hour.

I would consider teleportation like they did on Star Treck.

I feel so blessed to live where I do, really.  At this stage of life, I'm happy where I am.  I could do without the weather we have, but all in all, there are so many places I wouldn't want to live--dreams of others but not mine.

We live in our dream home. We fell in love with our favorite lake in upper MI. We build our cottage on this lake 7 years ago and live here now.
