I recently talked a neighbor into going with me to the recycle station. There was a cube of compressed something or other sitting over at the edge. She said "That's going to China, you know. They make stuff out of it and ship it back to us." Is this true? It would kind of defeat the purpose of recycling if they spent all that money shipping it across country and then over to China on a cargo ship. I'm disillusioned.
