Where Did You Buy The BEST COMFORTER You Ever Owned?

I need a new one! I want a really good one! THe first one I bought a long long time ago was wonderful and expensive. The last two from Macy's were moderately priced and disappointing: Heavy and lumpy.

Where can I buy another wonderful, light weight one?

Lands End - they have comforters in various weights that are very high quality. They’ve probably got them on sale now, too.

I purchased one from Overstock I liked it so much I bought another. But still doesn't compare to the one I purchased on the Q many years ago.

No thought is worth thinking.....

Northern Nights. I own 2 down comforters and my favorite - down blanket. Wonderful. Never an issue.

The best I've had were Crocill brand that I got at Dillard's. They've had dogs all over them and have been washed a million times. Still look like new...no fading.

QVC has many comforters as well.

My best was (is) from Kohl's, bought it in 1990-something.

Has survived many launderings, still using it.

100% cotton, close weave and bleach-able.

The worst two were from HSN. Seams opening up and stuffing falling out. Couldn't get them through one season of use. Ugh!

All three were about the same price.

I have bought several over the years and all have been 100% goose down and I've loved them all. I think they came from Macy's, QVC (northern nights, ages ago) and The Company Store. I don't remember any being cheap but you get what yo pay for.
