There are some amazing fish tanks out there.  

Have you ever seen the show Tanked?  They make custom aquarium designs all over the world. I can't imagine the expense involved in building and caring for the tank.

There is one in the waiting room of my allergist's office, and the kids are always mesmerized.  I like looking at fish, but I have never had any.  I'm sure my furry friends would love to have a built in tank!

I used to think aquariums were cool when I was a kid.  Now when I see one now in a home, I think they're kind of tacky.  I don't mind a grand one in a hotel or restaurant, but   it just doesn't work for me in a residence.

I used to have a reef tank.  It was only 55 gal. but was very pretty.  I loved just sitting and watching the fish.  I finally got tired of taking care of it and took it down.  I returned the fish and coral to the fish store and sold the tank.

My husband and I wanted to try the old console tv fish tank but never did.  I miss my aquariums but they were a lot of work to keep healthy.

I think fish belong in the ocean, not cooped up in a tank.

Had an octagonal tank years ago. I enjoyed it at the time, but it was a lot of work maintaining it.

I have seen the show Tanked and last summer they built an aquarium for a new restaurant in our area.

We watch Tanked occasionally.  I think some of them look really tacky.  LOL

Maybe in a den or an office, they'd be cool.
