I have had gold fish do they count?

We bought an aquarium when my daughter was about 10 or 12 years old.  I quickly discovered I was allergic to molds/algae because my lungs would get congested when I helped to clean it. 

Then, a year or two later, we moved, and had to go through the enormous hassle of moving the fish and re-setting up the aquarium.  

A year or so later the tank ruptured and fish were spilling everywhere. Thank goodness it was in the basement on tile flooring.  We managed to save a few, but eventually ended up with one clown loach. 

We kept a small aquarium running and lit for a couple of years, and buying food for that one fish. 

I think my grandchildren should have the joy of an aquarium............... 😉
