I have seen homes with a pass through window to the outside patio, but never saw one with a window that opened up like a garage door.

 

A good idea if you lived somewhere where it is always hot and maybe had a screened in patio...I don't like bugs or birds coming in.

It is kinda cool in theory.  The house looks to be in the woods, so bugs are probably plentiful.  I don't like seeing the tracks on the ceiling.
