@mousiegirl, Thanks, I'm heading over to check those out.

Oh, I should have never gone over to look at Zulily, too much temptation.  I'll go back tonight though, I'm pretty sure.  Woman Frustrated

I've been looking around over there.  They have some nice sized wooden lantern sets and a large metal one, too.  Also a good variety of other stuff that I don't need and luckily walked away from.  :-)

I saw the wheat bundles and thought of Susan Louise.

I love natural things like this and made a couple different size bundles to put around.  Also use it to stick in fall flower arrangements.

Both HL and Joanns and I think Michaels sells the wheat. I haven't looked for it this year.  I bought mine at HL and just used twine to tie it up.

You can make the bundles cheap.  You can design them then as you wish, just plain tied up, maybe a small pick on it or I've got a taller bundle that I put a plaid harvest bow on it.

@mil3  I think that is what I am going to do...maybe next year.

@mousiegirl  Thank you for starting the thread. Since I have begun decorating for Fall, I think I am passing on getting any of them til next year if I don't make them myself.

I am certain that others will also appreciate your info too. I bookmarked your find at Zulily. Additionally, I did happen to find what could possibly be the ones on VPH's sets, but they are sold out HERE...

I've learned one thing about Zulily, they sell for other companies and do not stock any merchandise.  Apparently they only sell it for a certain amount of time and then they stop, not just one item selling out but the whole bunch of items listed in a catagory.   Anyone else notice this?  They will say how many days or hours left and if you wait until that time has passed  that item or items is no longer listed and if you had any of the items in your cart it will be emptied. They had a lot of good stuff in a catagory called 'Rustic Thanksgiving' and now it's all gone.  I guess if we see something we want we need to order within their time frame given.  Not complaining, just passing on the info.

Yes, lucymo, and I find it very frustrating as I can never find the same items a second time, or category either.  I have been put on waitlist, as the first time I ordered from Zuily, the item arrived broken.  I was refunded, and told I would be notified the next time it was offered for sale.  I wonder if this is true, I hope so.

@lucymo I also think a part of it too is that I have noticed when we post about a particularlly wonderful item/product here on the Q or from another website, many times that item will sell out fast (we are all GREAT helpful reviewers and sluths...lol). I'll use the 1st time I ordered from Zulily as an example. When I ordered those finials that SHOPR posted in this thread a couple of weeks ago, I was so lucky to get them before they sold out! I had also posted in this thread about seeing the same set of finials at other retailers online for nearly double the Zulily's price, so I'm sure a lot of folks who read these threads that don't post also got on the bandwagon. I have also seen many Q items get sold out fast after lots of positive info about a product too Smiley Happy

Yes, some things sell out but they stop selling entire groups of items.  Like that " Rustic Thanksgiving", they have even removed the catagory.

I think that is just how Zulily works.  They put up sales that only last for a few days, and then the sale is over and all of the items under that particular "sale" name are removed (sold out, I suppose it would say).  But if you browse there long enough, you will begin to see many of the same items re-appear in future sales in the home category.  Everything doesn't show back up, though.  It seems that the good stuff never does!
