What would you do with this kitchen nook?

[ Edited ]

What type of window treatments? Table? Never mind items on the floor.  Cabinets will be changed out to white? Lighting?A5D65F0A-F075-4E52-B17F-D697F43EB1CD.jpeg

I would use French Country and roman shades.

Roman Shades.  I would use the color of the wall in a solid color.

Are you wanting window treatments that are functional (ie privacy) or just decorative (ie to add color/pattern, etc)?

@ECBG   Beautiful ideas....I would add wide-plank hardwood floors.

Thank you.  I taught Interior Design and wrote curriculim for our state.

The wood floor would be lovely, but I would go with wood laminate flooring so you can clean it.

The one thing I would do for sure is get window treatments that allow you to see out but no one can see in.

Interesting traditional round table and chairs. Nothing else for an unobstructed outside view.

Blinds that can be pulled up during the day.  Those windows and view are beautiful.

I would also add an interesting hanging ceiling light.

I'd move the trashcan and chair (desk if one is there).

@HonestLife  When you replace the cabinets...see if you'd like one that has the trash can slide in and out with a cabinet door hiding it...I love mine and I don't have to look at it all the time.  DW
