Regardless of how I decorate, I never want my entire home to be all the same. I like a number of different looks, and like that my family room is more primitive/country, my dining room is more vintage elegant, and other rooms feature other feelings/looks.

People who come seem to find comfort to be a common comment. They like the comfort of it, but with lots of interesting things to look at and talk about (mostly the antique things we own/display).
