I bought a radio that was a replica of something from the 1940s, I think.  I can't recall who made it but I think it was Jim Shore.  I put it in my laundry room on a shelf and I could do "casette tapes" back then while I did laundry.  That was before digital stuff.  I still have it in my laundry room.  It's a cute accessory in there on my grandmother's chest that she used for flour/sugar/meal, dry products.
