Someday I'll replace mine and I think this is what I'll look for in my next couch.  I seem to just nod off anymore.

I like my Lazy Boy love seat and sofa. 
They were pricey, but after sitting in multiple sofas in their store, the better quality ones are worth it.

I highly recommend Crate and Barrel Gather Chaise (or sofa etc). It has a really thick cushion; I have one in my home office and am going to order one for my bedroom too. I doze off on it often too.

I have no trouble whatsoever napping in my recliner.

Agree with @Kachina624 -- something about recliners make everyone fall asleep.

I also agree with @Kachina624  and @NYCLatinaMe , I love sleeping in my recliner. It is so comfortable.

@deeva      I have a Lazy Boy sofa. Bought it 6 years ago. It is extremely comfortable to sit on and to sleep on. Good quality sofas.

I also vote for recliner.  In fact, I took a nap about 1 this afternoon.  My daughter made me a beautiful lap quilt.  It is cool and raining here. Threw the quilt over me, recliner and I was out for about an hour..  A band could have marched through here and I would not have noticed.
