What's happening with Northern Nights sheets!

I have been buying Northen Nights sheet sets for 8 yrs now. In the past 3 yrs the quality has gone down the drain. The fitted sheet fits after the first wash, then after that you have to struggle to get it on the bed. They shrink and don't fit anymore. I have thrown away at least two sets because I can no longer get them on the bed. I have followed washing directions and they still don't fit. In this day and age mattress's are thicker than they use to be. Northern Nights need to make their fitted sheet pockets at least 18" to allow for shrinkage. Anyone else having the same problem?
