i am personally now a big fan of microfiber sheets.....easy to take care of and no problems at all......and they feel nice against the skin. love the concierge collections on hsn.

I love our Malden Mills polar fleece sheets. Never tried northern night sheets but people seem to like them also.

The only sheets I've ever had that pilled were thick cotton flannel. I've never had problems with my Malden Mills sheets or cotton Sateen sheets pilling.

I agree with ChynnaBlue about the cotton flannel pilling. I buy very high thread count sheets from HSN and QVC (at least 600 or more) and none of them has ever pilled. They aren't that expensive.
