What is the most unusual feature in your home? (Share a picture if you can!)

Mine is something pretty strange....we have a handcrafted spiral staircase going down from our master bath.

Our bedroom is on the second floor of our house, so when we wanted to build-on a master bath, it had to be a 2-story addition. My husband loves spiral staircases and wanted one so badly....so we have one going from the bath down to the sunroom.

It actually does kind of serve a purpose, as we outfitted the sunroom as an excersise room--treadmill, mats, etc. Now we can workout, then just zip up the steps into our bath for a shower. Really, though....it's only there because my husband wanted it.

I don't know how a buyer will feel about it when we eventually sell to downsize, but I guess they could always take it out, build in the hole and lay more tile. We have extra tile that matches the rest of the floor.
