It looks like from the bed you see right into the bathroom.  I would hate that.

 

There are no nightstands.  It's just a weird room layout.

I'm OK with everything but the wall behind the bed (looks weird and unfriendly) and those hanging globes.

I immediately thought of Halloween. The lighting reminded me of jack-o-lanterns

@lolakimono Maybe for me it's a feng shui no-no reaction, but I would not be comfortable with a door opening on either side of my bed.

Not for me.  I, too, thought it looked like a large hallway that someone decided to make into a bedroom.
