@Sooner   The mattress doesn't feel cool at all.  That just means it draws the excess heat away so you remain comfortable.

@JeanLouiseFinch What excessive heat?

Saatva.  Have 5 of them in this house.  Wouldn't want me or my loved ones to sleep on anything else.Heart

@Sooner I'm assuming someone who sweats easily.  I have peripheral neuropathy so my feet and lower legs often feel cold.  I'm also usually chilled, in general, and wear sweaters and long sleeves all the time, but I am always comfortable in our bed.

Re: What is Your Favorite Mattress?

I tell y'all what!  I don't need a new mattress yet, BUT when I do it will be a cooling mattress.  Menopause sucks!  My husband can use blankets if he gets cold.

[ Edited ]

Hi, @Sooner !  My husband and I have a Stearns & Foster from many years ago when he worked for Sealy, Stearns&Foster.  This bed has made moves from Huntington Beach to Front Royal, VA to Kansas City to Waikoloa, HI to Henderson, NV outside Las Vegas and is still going strong.  We left HB in 2010, so we are far past the claimed life of the mattress. We do have a mattress topper on it but don't flip it at all.  Still very comfortable for us.

ETA: I'm 67, so this was with us through my hot flashes and I just kick the covers off a while if I don't need them.

@Sooner , I haven't read all replies so hope I am not duplicating.  I bought a Sleep Science adjustable bed from Costco.  I am in love with it.  LM

Re: What is Your Favorite Mattress?

My fave is the one I have right now. It was a bed in a box that I got 7 years ago, I think---it was custom made for me by a company called Helix. They are in NYC. It is a full sized and cost me $750. Like I said, it was custom made to my specs and I got it 2 weeks. I slept better the very first night and ever since,  than any of the other mattresses.

@henderson I was saying I do not get too hot sleeping on a normal basis.  I don't understand needing bedding to draw away "heat."
