Too creepy for me.

OK I must be the odd one.  I think it's nice. I love leather chairs and couches and the wing back is from way back in the colonies of the U.S.  It's not pushing forward, it's a straight back.  I would not paint the walls quite that kind of blue but I like it.

What a travesty, painting all that beautiful woodwork and the fireplace surround, and even the ceiling, all one shade of vivid blue.  The chair?  The less said about that, the better.  At least they didn't ruin the beautiful wood floor or the marble fireplace surround.

Nothing in this room I like except the marble fireplace, but hate they painted around it, the walls, & ceiling in that dark blue. The chair looks very top heavy.
