Bought my sofa in October of 2018 from La-Z-Boy. It's the only sofa in my townhome and my dog and I enjoy it daily. I went for low maintenance- brown chenille. It is not a focal point of the room, which is neutral with warm tones.

Mine are olive green but getting ready to replace with a beige neutral set.

I would do a loveseat instead of a couch, and then I would add a chaise,

One will be blue, the other will be green.

I love vibrant color, and since the rest of the room will be neutrals.

my color pops will be those two pieces.

@Queen of shop   You are a trail blazer...I wonder what the rest of the room looks like?  Colors...wood?  I think this could be stunning done right...maybe it will inspire me to go a little wild (I've always been a neutral kind of person).

Love the lamps. Just my style. My couch is red (kind of a blue red) with large green leaves and yellow and light pink flowers in kind of an impressionist pattern. My couch has big curved stuffy arms and two loose pillows at the back. My grandmother gave me a chair and matching loveseat with loose pillows when she passed, and my mother had both pieces reapolstered in red ticking. they look great with the couch. I also have a lot of blue and white chinese ceramic pieces. I call my decorating style "Country Oriental". I also accesorize with a lot of interesting baskets and I have several furniture pieces painted red to match the couch.

Off-white, Queen Anne - Pennsylvania House. It's old and looks like new. Not about to change it. But my living room has always been on the formal side.
