Actually we have two front doors. When we put the addition in we added another front door and drive way. I always tell people to come to the red door. It's easier for most people-not many stairs and really stands out.

I thought and thought trying to come up with a color and I painted it Burgandy. I just love my door nobody else in my hood has a burgandy door.

I LOVE olive colored houses...I think they look great in every season.
My house is gray brick. The front door is like a French door with multiple panes of glass - the original beveled glass from 1912. So there is little actual "door" to paint - it's black and all the window trim is black too.
