Re: What are you melting or burning in 2023

Since I don't like to burn candles, I usually just place them where the sun will gently warm them and release some scent.  I had tried a wax melter, but I didn't like that I had to clear out one scent completely before using another scent, plus I have an inventory of candles I'd like to use up.  Recently, I bought a generic top down wax melter.  You know the ones that are essential a halogen lamp with an adjustable arm?  I like this the best because it releases the scent directly from any candle.  As a side benefit, if you have a candle that has tunneled from burning, the lamp will melt the wax and even it out.

Re: What are you melting or burning in 2023

I purchased a wax warmer with a timer from Yankee Candle that uses their Easy Wax Melts and am currently melting Ocean Air (not my favorite, too powder scented).  The wax melts are made specifically for the wax warmer and the scent lasts for a burn time of 24 hours although some scents longer. The melts are in a hard plastic container that fits in the top of the warmer so no mess to clean and easy to change out for another one and you can set the timer for 3, 6, or 9 hours.  My favorite scent is Balsum and Cedar.  This was my first purchase from Yankee Candle and I was very pleased.

@Nathan Grandma I have this as well from Yankee-a genius idea, and it works great for no mess, and no spills. Just wish the scents would last longer, but I do really like mine, and they are attractive looking as well.

Finished burning Reading at the Cafe from Frostbeard Studio Candles. Now burning Trader Joe's Crackling Citrus Green Tea. I enjoyed them both. Have a good week. Really like reading what everyone is melting and or burning.
