I just finished reading a few Christmas themed hard cover books. I think I had already read them over 10 years ago, but I did not remember the stories. It made me think....do I keep them to read again in another 10 years?
What do you do with books that you've finished reading?
Throw them out?
Display them in your home?
Donate to a a charity?
Keep the "good" ones and get rid of the "bad" ones?

@BunSnoop I put them on my bookshelves that I have in my home office. I've read books on my Kindle for many years though, so I haven't brought many new books in for a while.
A few years ago I did go through them and donated a lot of my old books.

If I think I may want to read it again in the future, it goes on a bookshelf. If I think a sibling or friend would like it, I pass it on. If it is by a popular author, I donate. If it was not at all good, I throw it away.

@BunSnoop - after I circulate them among family and friends, I donate them to the Friends of the Library for their used book sales. 💗

Donate to library or give to a specific person. Last month I gave books to my pharmacist and Fedex driver. People love getting a surprise book.
