@ECBG - I have a Kitchen Aid that is probably about 20 years old. My mom gave it to me for Christmas one year. It's still going strong, and it gets a lot of use!

@ECBG  My yellow and gray General Electric hand mixer, cost $10.00 in 1963. It is still going strong. That was when they made all appliances to last for many years. There was pride in manufacturing high quality products, back then.

  A few years ago, I bought a Kitchen Aid hand mixer as a back up, in case the GE dies on me. ( As a former Girl Scout, I am always prepared.)

  My hand mixer only gets used for small things now. I mostly use my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. For 30 years, before I got the stand mixer, that GE hand mixer was used for everything and I did a lot of baking weekly, for my family of seven.

 I doubt that GE products are even made in this country anymore. Kitchen Aid seems to be a good brand for small appliances now.

I bought my KA over 10 years ago from Q.  I use it almost everyday and it works great.

I haven't used my stand mixer in a long time this hand mixer does the job🙂

I have a KitchenAid hand mixer and like it even though I don't use a lot.

If I decide to buy another it will be KitchenAid. 

I've seen QVC have good prices around this time of year on KA hand and stand mixers.  They usually add some extras for the price also.
