Our local WM never lost their sewing dept. It has always been there with a cutter.

Our WM brought back the sewing department last year . l buy basic notions and interfacing there.  But I still go to JoAnn's or Hobby Lobby for fabric.

Our Walmart always had someone right there in the department to cut fabric.  

 

They made it much smaller and good luck to anyone looking to have fabric cut.  You could probably weave it in less time than it takes to find someone to cut the fabric for you.
