That ottoman is a pretty color; the lamp too.

The peony flowers in the vase are beautiful.

I think the same background done in a large unframed canvas featuring the bird, the florals and , fronds section of that background would work. This is just a little too much  jungle going on here. I would not do the flowers and the vase on the table either.
