You are quite an artist IMO, I can't imagine the time and patience it takes to put something like that together.

@ValuSkr, you would probably laugh if you could see me on the sewing machine.  To say I just do basics is way too complimentary for my machine sewing skills.  I have an old machine that I put on the kitchen table.  I keep thinking I should get one with a table but then I am supposed to be getting rid of things at my age, not adding them.

We have had a lot of fabric shops close in my city in the last decade.  I know where the few good ones though.  

I put out all the quilting paraphernalia away today.  My family room looks like a family room again.  I will keep my eye out for something to quilt next year over the next six months.  I still think I should quilt my property (house, gardens, etc overlooking the lake) but I need to worry this one out some more.  LM
