So sweet!  Now you need another birdbath!  The pic makes me think of a multi species habitat at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park where specific foods for various animals are strategically placed at heights or locations unique to them.. ie giraffes get special pellets in a hollowed out tree trunk, and of course they get acacia branches hanging from a tall tree trunk.

@godi

Thank you for this beautiful photo - keep up the good work and seek solutions for all to drink.

It's repulsive out and water they all need.

I put a half cup container on my cinder block patio fence (I'm in a row home with a small patio space out back).

That lil container my husband and I wipe down and refill probably NO LIE 8-10 times daily.

All the birds drink, the squirrels, a pudgy lil opossum and a family of the cutest raccoons.

Of course I've also seen several feral cats too.

I put out seeds, pretzels, all sorts of fruit, and peanuts or chunky peanut butter for all of them too.

The feral cats get cat food that my kiddencat Shadow allows me to share with them.

Hard times fall on us all - I try to always keep the animals FRONT n CENTER.

Thank you for giving them a cool drink - they need it more than ever.

@godi

Love the deer story.  They need water too and it's been so hot.

We have a small (about 15" tall) bird bath that I fill every morning.  It sits on the floor of our front porch.  Yesterday, there was a bee that came to the bath and I'm sure he was getting a drink.  It stayed there for almost a minute and then flew away.  It was in the mid 90s so I know he was thirsty and I was happy we could be of help.
