And if you are going to do something like this, go all the way.  Don't stop short.  MORE!  More red, more pattern, a dark carpet, a darker ceiling, metallics, stuff.  

 

Either take it down a notch or rev it up.  It's just stuck in the middle here.

First impression:  Exquisite.  Rich and Expensive. 

 

Excellent mix of styles, prints, textures, and colors.  Artwork perfect for the high ceiling.  IMO, exceptionally talented interior designer.

 

I like the use of the simple lawson sofa where other designers might use something more old European, possibly, with carved wood along the back.  

 

Beautifully done.  A+.

 

Now, is it my style...could I live with it?  No.

Dont like anything about this room....too may different patterns and that artwork adds to the chaos of the room...
