I have a candle lamp and a ceramic Scentsationals wax melt warmer, both from Amazon.  I don't use wax melts or the liners.  I use the wax from a scented jar candle after it has melted under the candle lamp by scooping out the melted wax with a small Dixie cup and pouring it into the warmer cup.  My wax melt cup is ceramic and the wax falls out of the cup when I pop it in the freezer.  Handy tip, cooled wax drips don't stick to parchment paper when transferring melted wax from the jar candle to the wax melt cup.

I would not want to take up counter space with a light...my warmers plug into the wall.  I have several different designs.
