Does anyone know if lowes or Home Depot sell waterproof panels?  I can't spend a lot of money so this is the way I will go.  I saw many nice pics of bathrooms with wall panels.

when I searched on line, merchants I never heard of came up. Also, I don't want to purchase this on the computer.  I want a real store so that perhaps I could get a sample and pick a color that is right for my bath.

i really appreciate any info you may have.  Thanks so much.

Why don't you call and ask them what they've got?  Or better yet, go to the store and look.

I know this is a shopping board but construction materials are a little out of our realm.

I will call and ask, or better yet, I'll actually drive to the store and ask. I was just asking if just maybe someone had used these panels in their baths and could share their information.

Sorry if I went out of your realm.😊

Whatever you choose, please be very careful with the installation.   You don't want to risk getting mold from any water leakage.    (This was recently discussed on a thread regarding tub renovations.)

It depends on what you mean by "waterproof wall panels." Nearly every home center sells tub surrounds, so if that's what you mean, then you'll find a good selection. For a while you could buy melamine wall panels (hardboard with a melamine finish on one side) that were "waterproof" on the front, but would rot from behind in a high moisture room like a bathroom. If those are what you're looking for you're likely out of luck. I haven't seen those offered for years now.
