Not sure whether to post this in Health or here. But the question is: Are they safe? Yes, my hard water will be eliminated and my stains will be gone and I will be able to bubble bath in luxury... in my case I will get a good bubble shower. HOWEVER, hubby who has no major problems with blood pressure DOES NOT WANT SALT IN HIS WATER. I also do not have a medical issue with salt, but neither of us over time want to create a problem. (I DON'T DRINK BOTTLED WATER, NOR DO I WANT TO) We have a great well and want to keep it that way.
Does anyone have advice on water softeners and the safety factor? Is salt actually added to the water? Any product advice would be appreciated.
