Doesn’t she have the most soothing, comforting voice? That is my example of someone easy to listen to.

I couldn't stop looking at those cloth/burlap roosters even though I doubt large roosters would look at all right in my place lol!

Well, finally I just admired them from afar.

Like so many of us, I am trying to declutter, give away and everytime I see something I like, I think of the things I have that I like just as much or more.

Still, its fun to watch.

It also reminds me not to go into any homegoods, marshalls, tj max, michaels, ross , pier one-did I miss any?(we don't have a Joanns here anymore but I loved that store too.)

I think the days of getting lots of stuff for a larger house are gone.

Now I'm into books for my grandkids! and great nieces and nephews😍

I am enjoying Valerie's shows as I always do.  I shop at Home Goods, Marshall's and yet I still find Valerie's items interesting.  I do not buy much because I don't need anything but I l like to watch and see her designs.

Valerie is a woman of dignity, grace and honesty.  That is how she comes across to me.  I just wish some of the hosts she is paired with would allow her to describe and talk about her creativity.  Some monopolize and come across as know it alls and to me this is a turn off.  When a designer is on the Q, he or she should have much more time to talk about their work than the host.

I think she has many great ideas and I hope she sticks around for awhile.

I am so over all that stuff---just clutter that needs to be dusted. Got new carpeting last Sept and when the old rug went away, most of the "stuff" on tables and walls went with it. But then I stayed with the same tired theme for 30 years---so thats my fault----I have a couple wreaths that are made of  interesting textiles and natural materials, but would never use anything with the fake plants/ flowers. Funny how your tastes change. Now all I want is clean, non fussy and easy to deal with.

@wagirl

I hear you!

Several years ago, we did a complete makeover of my son's room. New paint, carpet, window and closet and entry door.

We had a great bedroom suit in there already, but updated the quilt and shams too.

When we put the room back together, I left the walls bare, except for a very antique clock that was passed down through the family and matched the furniture so well.

I used minimal decor on the dresser, book shelf, night stand. Mostly lamps and the occasional flameless candle.

I love the simplicity and clean look in there now, compared to his 'little boy' room.

I find it is easiest to purge so much table top and wall decor when you completely empty the room, rehab it a little and then you really don't want to 'junk' it back up with so much stuff!

And like you, I tend to hang on to my 'look' and furniture and decor for decades. I think one day, you just wake up and say...geee...I've loved this stuff for so long, but I'm sick of it!!

Wreaths are so out dated looking. Come on QVC.

Guess you don't see many magazines, Pinterest, etc.

Wreaths are not outdated.

Now these particular ones may not be suited for everyone's decor (not really for mine), but wreaths are far from outdated.

As someone very new to Hobby Lobby (in just the last 3 months), I have to agree that you can find everything "Valerie" at Hobby Lobby.  I watch Valerie's shows for ideas, but never buy.  My first visit to HL was just after Valerie came out with the Magnolia stuff for Fall. I wanted to find similar and I was surprised at all the rustic pumpkins, bird cages, pillars, etc. in the store that were very similar to what Valerie had in those shows.

The only thing I will say (and have said) is that I can't find wreaths (fresh or fake) as nice as her anywhere near her price.

I will give her the wreaths advantage.

I find Valerie to be one of the best vendors on QVC!!!   Her voice is so "pleasing to the ear", as my mother used to say!!  She seems so sweet, gracious and good natured.  Love her shows, though don't buy much anymore!

Didn't see the presentation, but did anyone like the set of 2 wire birdcages?

Not exactly the look I want, plus don't need two.

If she would bring in that large Christmas rectangle lantern she had, without it being

a seasonal piece, I'd probably buy it.  Perfect size that I'm looking for.
