I like the before pic in photo #1, it just needs some warming up with a nice rug, photos, candles and furniture! I actually like the before and the after in photo #2, but the after needs some color......In photo # 3 I do like the after better, but again needs a bit of color for warmth! Thanks for posting!

Just not a fan of everything white!! there needs some warmth and color--hate the black hole of a fireplace too. No I dont like any of the b & a's

That first picture resembles my living room, our paint is a little darker, we have the oak trim. I wonder sometimes if it looks dated, but I woudn't change it. I do have more color on the walls though. In my opinion, thats what the first picture needs.

I don't care for white walls in a large room. To me the off white walls of all the after pictures just look more comfortable. The white rooms  just seems stark and cold to me.

@wilma Not fond of pure white rooms, but I like the kitchen in this condo with the white cabiets the warm granite and wood floors, plus the black backsplash redeem it.

I like the cabinets & floor. I’m not loving the counters or  backsplash, but it looks nice.

Pic 1 - I like "after" more but wouldn't paint the fireplace, maybe a tile instead.  I also think the doors & windows are much nicer.

Pic 2 - I like the "before" more but change out the furnishings.

Pic 3 - I like the "before" more but change out everything.

I prefer the after look in the first and third pictures.  The second room doesn't look that different from the before to me.  Just lighter walls and new furniture.

I like the first After with white walls but the fireplace in black has got to go!

I much prefer the warm.  No way would I want the all white.  Very cold and stark looking.  This does not look like an inviting living space.  It looks like a show place!

Pic 1 - The after picture IMO is a much better look.

Pic 2 - I dislike the decor in the after room, particularly the curtain rods and curtain, the furniture.  Hard to say whether the color of the walls is the problem of the decor.

Pic 3 - I like the color of the walls in the before, but dislike the couch, rug, artwork.  The room in the after is more to my liking, but don't like the white fireplace, wall.

For myself, I prefer the warmer look. The stark white feels like a hospital, sterile and cold.
