WHY ARE ALL SHEETS SHINY????

Need to find a wrinkle free sheet set, in neutral tan color.

I was so happy - purchased a NN wrinkle free sheet set last week, and took it out of the bag, it was soooo shiny!!!

I like flat colors.  No shine.  WRINKLE FREE!

Can any recommend some???

I found the same problem with all of QVC's sheets - shiny and heavy.  I don't know as you can totally live without wrinkles.......but I love Martha's percale at Macy's.  (they are cool temp too...300ct best)

I've heard it said that sheets with a sateen weave tend to have some glossiness to them because of the way it is woven.  Most if not all of NN cotton sheets tend to be sateen weave.   Supposedly percale weave has a flatter look.   Personaly I prefer the glossy look of the sheets and also they tend to be softer than percale.

Sateen is more shiny weave, but a smoother feel.  If you want a dull finish, percale is what you want, but it is rougher.

To get wrinkle free you will either need to settle for chemical treated or a product that is or has a synthetic in it.  But a synthetic can pill.

Sheets put you between a rock and hard place.

I love cotton flannel all year and I don’t think they wrinkle.
