Re: WHITE CHRISTMAS IN ARIZONA

[ Edited ]

It’s elegant, but it lacks a strong focal point. It leans heavily on icy tones and symmetry, but without a bold centerpiece or contrast, the eye doesn’t know where to land.

The angle in the second picture softens everything. The tree draws your eye first, and the warm lighting helps blur the sharper lines of the furniture. You are no longer focused on symmetrical art or the rigid layout, instead, the space feels more inviting.

Re: WHITE CHRISTMAS IN ARIZONA

I love it.  Isn't too sterile for me.  You can get comfy on a light colored couch.  Most likely a durable performance fabric.

I don't have traditional red and green Christmas decorations in my home.  Even our trees are a softer green or blue-ish hue.

No matter what color your pallette, dust falls.  Be it black leather and upholstery of every color, it doesn't discriminate...

@Oznell   I love it!  Yes, a bit formal.  I could live there, SO, him, not so much.  I love red and green, navy, gold and white for my holidays.

@Oznell

Oh my...I adore it all! It is absolutely perfect as is and unlike most others I think it is very homey and comfy.

It is so refreshing, opulent and lush.

It looks Christmas-ie and cozy in the fresh, clean and crisp way that a beautiful snowy winter scene looks Christmas-ie and cozy....in a pristine and fresh way.

The colors used are lovely and fresh. I do prefer pastels, whites, silvers and golds but I also like traditional colors.

I like it all.

I really like that big ginger jar and I need to find those faux hydrangeas on Amazon!

Thanks for another lovely!!!

@just bee

I missed those sky paintings when I first looked, but I agree those are fantastic and do add to the decor.

I've always loved paintings/pictures of clouds and the sky.

Those very apt words really capture my reaction to it, @GingerHead --  "refreshing" yet "opulent"!
