With apologies to oznell for going off topic one more time, I have a nice little collection of Ina Garten books, too, @faeriemoon

Not all of them, but the ones I have I love.

@GingerPeach   If you go to Ina's website she recently published a much-requested index (printable) for all of her cookbooks.  It makes life much easier if you are looking for a recipe and don't remember which cookbook it was in.  I printed it and keep it in a folder right next to her books.

@Oznell  I too apologize for going OT.

Re: WARM CONNECTICUT HOUSE

[ Edited ]

Like most of the house, especially the kitchen and even the hinges, gives it character.  But, when my children were as young as hers, there is no way my home would look as well kept as hers and my children were pretty well behaved.  All that stuff sitting around on tables would not remain intact with young children and for me much of it would go....can do without elephants and alligators too!  Hauling the alligators back and forth off dining table leaves me questioning why anyone would do that!

And yes @Oznell  her adorable doggie is a Boston Terrier...nice little dogs!

While I love the location and some of the furnishings, I find the home lacking warmth and I do not get that feeling of coziness.  I do like the size of the rooms and the window treatments but on the whole, this place doesn't do it for me.

@Oznell Thanks for posting this.  Like some of the posters, this house just didn't give me the warm fuzzies.  The animal wall plaques and ceramics just seemed out of place, and the whole place just didn't seem pulled together.  It left me cold.
