Re: WALLS AND TRIM THE SAME COLOR

My parents had a smaller, ranch style home from the 50s with some very nice woodwork. My dad always painted the walls and trim the same color and I was used to that. Fast forward to my own homes, and I wanted white trim....but looking at these photos, I can see a certain appeal to the all-one-color scheme and I like it.

Hey, @jannabelle1 ,  hi,  I'm assuming you're one of my favorite posters ( @jannabelle) from before the Q boards in their infinite wisdom, made us go back to earlier nicknames.  With me, they've now got me with a capital "O" in Oznell now....

Some of these rooms are just fabulous!  Especially for a library, den, kitchen or small bathroom.

I am eyeing the powder room as we speak!  LOL!!!

Some of them I don't mind at all, but with the darker colors, it could end up in some cases being too much!

Re: WALLS AND TRIM THE SAME COLOR

My next door neighbor had her walls and trim painted a very pale sage green. I thought it looked nice.

She sold the house last year and the new owners immediately had it repainted ..obviously they didn't like it.

Re: WALLS AND TRIM THE SAME COLOR

I have that in my house now. Like it.

Never have had this before, , always a deeper color or a white.

This blends the doors seamlessly into the walls, open or closed.
