purchased beautiful wall sconces last march and have enjoyed them very much. HOWEVER, i am now realizing that these are just throw away sconces...didn't realize that after 1800 hours (or a lot less in my case) these are useless!! i assumed just the batteries had to be replaced every few months which i was willing to do. i realize now that once the unreplaceable light goes out thats it!! what a waste- i know have holes in my wall and will be looking to replace these with a black metal pillar holder that will hold flameless candles. i just feel these sconces were misrepresented as being a long term purchase...
