JMO but this looks to plain to me.It also doesn't look like you can open them slightly to let the sun in while maintaining your privacy. I'll pass on this one.

@NicksmomESQ  They are fully adjustable open or close, we have these and love them, it's just an option for the op.

@deb5555  Ok that helps. They are still a little too plain for me.I like my slider / windows to have more texture & patterns.My slider is in my dining room.

   I can however, see the appeal.

I happen to like them too--have some in my apartment. they are vinyl and not fancy---think if I move to my own place, I would get them only in a little nicer material.

Panels are a more updated version. Ours were specifically made for solar protection.

GlaD so many of you still like verticals.  Yes, I will investigate new choices.  

Several mentioned plantation shutters.  I like mine on windows but I can't envision on door that is used.
