I'm all over anything in a verdigris finish.  What a clever use of shutters on the fireplace.  I probably would have chosen a quieter rug, but overall, it's a great room.

I'd like to see a different view of this.... from a normal height!   I love the stone fireplace.... without the mantel and shutters/doors.  I like many of the colors.  Love the high ceiling and light in the room!  But, I'd design this space differently, starting with the distressed paint on the shutters/doors and behind the TV, and getting rid of most of the pillows!

An excellent example of the expression: "the enemy of good is perfect".

What might have been a nice theme in a somewhat symmetrical room, with a touch of verve here or there, became a cluttered and overdone eclectic mess. 

If you are buying stuff on the basis of "hey, this would look great in the living room" three times a month for 5 years, this is the result, and you're needing an intervention!

@lolakimono.  Here's my version of this room without the beautiful window.  Note: similar, low-back sofas in all rooms.  I have an almost identical coffee table and accessories.  I even have the cactus pillow.  I have this rug.
